 This villa-style hotel is on a cliff above San Stefanos, with unrivalled views across the Ionian Sea. San Stefanos’ wide sandy beach is about a 5-minute walk down a steep hill, while the shops and tavernas in the village centre are about a 10-minute walk away.

The pool at the Romanza has plenty in the way of sea views. It also has a roomy sun terrace with a daytime snack bar. The rooftop terrace is a great place to watch the sunset, too. Main meals are covered in the restaurant, which serves up Greek home-cooking as well as weekly barbecue nights with Greek dancing. Cocktails come courtesy of the in-house bar, as do the regular quiz nights.
