This smart complex is just 10 minutes from the centre of Playa del Inglés. The sandy beach is a 20-minute stroll away, or for a couple of euros you can get there by cab. So if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful but within easy reach of all the action, it’s a bit of a hidden gem.

Newly renovated, the split-level apartments look like little terraced houses. Inside, they’re modern and fresh, with splashes of bright red and blue in the décor. Downstairs, there’s an open-plan lounge with a kitchen area kitted out for self-catering. And you’ll find the bedroom and bathroom up on the top floor.

Step outside and you’ve got your own little terrace with a table and chairs for sitting out. But the main attraction out here is the pool. This lagoon-like number curves around a snack bar, with plenty of space for sunbathing. And there’s a kids’ pool and covered playground as well. It’s all surrounded by palms and tropical plants, and there’s no traffic noise so you can enjoy it in peace.

The chilled-out vibe carries through to the evening. The apartments’ bar is great for a low-key night out, while the bright lights of the resort are just around the corner. But this place is perfect if you just want a quiet one. Stock up on sangria, pull up a chair on the terrace, and just enjoy the sunset. You’ll soon see why guests come back here year after year.
