Set in the relaxed resort of Cala Blanca, the Globales Mediterrani puts a handful of shops, bars and restaurants on your doorstep. You’ll find the beach right across the road, set within a sandy cove and protected by low cliffs. Plus, you’re less than a 15-minute bus ride from Ciutadella, the former capital of Menorca.

There’s a large lagoon-style pool and a smaller kids’ splash pool. They’re fringed with loungers and tall palm and pine trees, which provide some shade. A poolside bar with plenty of seating is on hand for daytime drinks and sunset aperitifs.

A buffet restaurant takes care of mealtimes. At breakfast, you’ll find fruit and croissants, as well as British staples like bacon and eggs. In the evenings, expect a variety of local dishes, such as paella, as well as international favourites, including pasta and pizza.

There’s plenty to keep you busy, like ping pong, archery and water polo. And, if you’re looking to explore the area, bikes are available for hire* – pedal down to Cala’n Bosch or north to Ciutadella. After dark, you’ll be treated to a variety of live shows, including live singers and dancers.
